Introduction

In recent years, the rapid advancement of technology has brought economic prosperity and improved quality of life. However, it has also led to new challenges, such as environmental degradation. With global economic development, energy consumption has surged, contributing significantly to global warming. As a result, energy and environmental protection have become top priorities for governments worldwide. In response, the “ICCBE 2025 Penang invention and Design Fair” refers to green technologies that aim to provide innovative inventions and designs to address energy and environmental issues. This competition also seeks to promote collaboration among industry, academia, and research institutions, while encouraging talented individuals to actively engage in innovation and R&D. Through this exhibition, we aim to showcase the intellectual achievements of outstanding inventors, foster international exchange, enhance the visibility and market value of patented products, and further strengthen collaboration across the industrial, academic, and research sectors. We warmly welcome participants from all fields to join us.

Competition Schedule and Venue

Registration Deadline: Now until June 15, 2025 (Sunday)

Competition Dates: 27-29 June 2025 (Friday–Sunday)

Venue: Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology,
(TAR UMT) Penang Branch, Malaysia

Categories and Eligibility

Participants will be divided into three groups based on age and field of expertise:

1. Invention – General Group: University students (undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral) and members of the public.

2. Design Group: Open to participants from all fields with innovative design projects.

 

Awards and Prizes

Gold Award – Top 10%: Gold medal and certificate.

Silver Award – Top 10%–20%: Silver medal and certificate.

Bronze Award – Top 20%–40%: Bronze medal and certificate.
